WORKSHOP GENERATIVE COACHING
An international special event, in Turin
Workshop with Ph.D. Stephen Gilligan
Saturday 10th & Sunday 11st October 2009
TURIN - ITALY
In the present world, learning how to learn and be more creative has become increasingly important. This means that the role of professional trainers and coaches has also become increasingly important, for they help others learn, evolve, adapt, and transform. A coach's job is to support clients to express more of their potential to make bigger contributions, feel more deeply, and live more fully.
"I am very much looking forward to leading these special workshops in "Generative Coaching" in Turin. Of the many cultures I have had the privilege of visiting over the years, Italy is one of my very favorites. Its history, its people, its traditions are really very special. So to be able to bring the work of the great American master, Milton Erickson, to Italy is a great honor and pleasure. I look forward to seeing you all very soon!
Stephen Gilligan, Ph.D
WORKSHOP'S GOALS AND OUTCOMES
In Generative Coaching we emphasize a person's "state" as the core difference that makes a difference; that is the outcomes a person produces are only as good as their state. The training focuses on how coaches first develop a transformational state within themselves, and then help their clients to do the same. This allows change to occur at the deepest level of "identity," where core beliefs and visions exist.
In the workshop sophisticated mind/body approaches are used to help a person transform the way they think, feel, respond, and create in their life situations. Important results are ensured: people improve their productivity, deepen their well-being, and increase their value to others.
In Generative Coaching you will learn how to develop extraordinary states of consciousness that have many applications: transform identity; envisioning and realizing future states; change negative beliefs and habits; and improve success, self-image and self-satisfaction.
Major Topics:
- The four goals of the Transformational Self: happiness, health, helpfulness, and healing.
- Make deep changes in your self and others at the identity level of core beliefs and visions.
- Make sure both you and your clients are centered, relaxed, focused, and committed in every important expression.
- Developing generative beliefs, releasing limiting beliefs.
- Developing generative plans of action, releasing unhelpful patterns.
- Developing resources and finding "guardians" on multiple levels.
- Transforming inner resistances and "shadows" into allies on your journey.
- Generative strategies for effectively transforming attacks, negative energy, and traumatic invasions.

Santa Cruz from 1974-1977. Milton Erickson and Gregory Bateson became his teachers and mentors.
